AMTE-NC hosts events each year with the goal of bringing together our community and supporting the teachers of North Carolina. Such events include social gatherings at conferences like NCCTM and AMTE and special events like our annual Back to School meeting and Preservice Teacher Poster Session. Special Event: Building a Research Record in the Context of COVID-19
On Friday, December 11th, 2:00 - 3:30, AMTE-NC is sponsoring a panel discussion for graduate students and early career faculty focused on building a research record in the context of a global pandemic.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide a space to gather to share ideas about how to conduct research related to teaching and learning of mathematics in the current context of remote learning with an understanding of the stresses already placed on students and teachers. More information here!
2020 AMTE-NC Preservice Teacher Virtual Poster Session
Recognizing the importance of welcoming our preservice teachers to the NCCTM community and getting them comfortable with sharing their ideas widely, we have decided to hold the AMTE-NC sponsored poster session online this year. More information here!
