Building a Research Record in the Context of COVID-19

You are invited to an AMTE-NC sponsored panel discussion for graduate students and early career faculty focused on building a research record in the context of a global pandemic.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide a space for graduate students and early career faculty to gather to share ideas about how to conduct research related to teaching and learning of mathematics in the current context of remote learning with an understanding of the stresses already placed on students and teachers. We will begin with a panel discussion with 3-4 faculty sharing how they, and their graduate students, have transitioned their research in response to the pandemic. Then we will work in small groups to discuss individuals' particular challenges and ways we might support each other (including potential collaborations) moving forward.

We hope you will join us for this important discussion on Friday, December 11th 2:00 - 3:30. Please RSVP here.
