Welcome to the AMTE-NC Website! A special shout out to Nina Bailey for designing our logo!
AMTE-NC Members gathered on Friday, September 9th, 2022 for our annual Back to School Meeting. We started the day by hearing from various stakeholders across the state on the status of teaching and learning mathematics in North Carolina. It was a great opportunity to reflect on areas of strength, areas of growth, and to learn about the challenges of supporthing teachers within the various contexts represented by our panel. In the afternoon, there were a variety of sessions focused on topics such as subitizing, using virtual reality to teach math, and other ways to collaborate with MTEs across our state. It was great to be in community and start the academic year off on a positive note! Thank you to all who attended!
We are excited that we will be holding our annual Back to School meeting IN PERSON this year! Please plan to join us in Raleigh as we kick off another year of supporting excellence in mathematics teaching and learning in North Carolina. See below for registration information.
