2020 Pre-service Teacher Poster Session

Welcome to the 3rd Annual PST (Virtual) Poster Session

November 9th - 13th, 2020

The 2020 AMTE-NC Preservice Teacher Virtual Poster Session Has Come to a Close

There were 54 posters presented by over 100 preservice teachers (PSTs) representing institutions across the state of NC. So, while we were not together at NCCTM this year, we had a wonderful community gathering here to discuss the work of our future teachers.

The posters were organized on 5 different Padlet pages, all linked below. We invited everyone - PSTs, practicing teachers, and MTEs - to comment on, pose questions about, and generally participate in the discussion around the mathematics tasks and anticipated student work shared on the posters.

The conversation took place over the week of Monday, November 9th through Friday, November 13th. Everyone was welcome to stop by when they could, and as often as they'd like, to participate. We envisioned this as a safe and welcoming space to share great ideas and improve on them. While the discussion is complete, the posters are still available for all to peruse.

Poster Session Spaces

The posters are presented on five different Padlet pages so that no page is too overwhelming to navigate. Presenters from multiple institutions are included on each page so everyone has a chance to "mingle" and meet some new people. We encourage you to peruse any / all of the Padlet pages.
